About the project: "15-year-old Christopher has an extraordinary brain: He is exceptional at mathematics but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched, and he distrusts strangers. Now it is seven minutes after midnight, and Christopher stands beside his neighbor’s dead dog, Wellington, who has been speared with a garden fork. Finding himself under suspicion, Christopher is determined to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington, and he carefully records each fact of the crime. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a thrilling journey that upturns his world." Additional info: What To Prepare: Please plan to read sides provided for the character you’re interested in playing. Notes: the play is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, including intermission. Callbacks TBD Rehearsals – regular rehearsals beginning January 26th. In general, rehearsals will be held Sunday 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm and Monday through Thursday 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm. All actors are not called for all rehearsals. Actual schedule will be determined once the show is cast. Performances – March 14-27, 2025 Student Matinees tentatively scheduled for March 19, 20, 21 26, 27, 28 at 10:30 AM. Ed is Christopher's father. He is a bit gruff and works very hard. He is raising Christopher by himself. It's a difficult job at times, and while he gets frustrated and stressed, he loves his son intensely.
She is Christopher's teacher and the narrator of the story. She's comforting, very intelligent and perceptive. She is Christopher's bridge between himself and the world.
She is Christopher's mother. She lives in London and is shrouded in mystery due to what Christopher's father has said about her. She's a bit of a free spirit and struggles to be a "good" mother to Christopher.
