What if you found out he is actually a Canadian criminal? On Christmas Eve Santo hires a locksmith (Melvin) to help him get into an apartment building in New York that doesn't have a chimney Impressed by Melvin's wit he pays him to come along for the journey Join Santa Melvin and a whole cast of fun characters as they go on a journey to save Christmas. Additional info: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

A locksmith. Witty and sarcastic. He picks locks to afford college tuition. And bisexual. Ironically, the 'straight man' of the play. The "idea guy."
Santa Claus, but with a twist. Or two or three. Canadian, criminal. Gay, but married to Mrs. A happy-go-lucky type of guy. Is referred to as "Satan' for last 13 pages of the play. A kid at heart.
A very stereotypical 1920's mob boss. Santa's brother. New York accents are not required, but definitely encouraged!
Santa and Kris's dad. A stereotypical dad. A comedically terrible actor, on all fronts of the business. Loves Shakespeare.
A feminist. Santa's beard. Lesbian.
Santa's weird uncle. A man who thinks he's a priest.
