Actress Audition in a Short Film "Meat Crayon"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of an actress (preference will be given to real-life parent-child duos, but all submissions are welcome) for production of "Meat Crayon". More details are below. About the project: Synopsis: A young girl is taught to color by a mysterious figure and mentor named Mr. Meat Crayon, whose art supplies come from a horrifying source. Rate: Non union. Low. Honorarium. Additional information: Length: Short film (6 mins). Genre: Horror/Slasher. Production Type: Independent. Location: Toronto, ON. Shoot Dates: ½ rehearsal day + 1 shoot Day. Supporting role. Jordan's sunbaked ‘Karen’ of a mother, with a burnt-orange complexion from too much time in the sun. Completely oblivious to the looming danger, Karen brings an eerie sense of normalcy to the horror around her. She can swing from sweet to mean in a heartbeat. With a child 7 years old (playing 5/6).
