"Meet Me In Saint Louis" Musical Seeking Performers

About the project: Synopsis: It is the summer of 1903, and everyone in the Smith family eagerly anticipates the opening of the 1904 World’s Fair. Over the course of a year, the family's mutual respect, tempered with good-natured humor, helps them through romance, opportunity, and heartbreaks. The musical includes seven of the best-loved songs from the film, plus ten additional Martin and Blane songs written specially for the stage. Memorable musical numbers include "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "The Boy Next Door," "The Trolley Song," and "Whenever I’m with You." Additional info: Cast includes 17 speaking parts and a small chorus. You may be asked to do a basic choreography/movement audition or a cold read. Please wear appropriate attire and shoes. MUSIC: Please prepare one song of your choice and have a way to play your music. To audition: auditions are an open call. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes before end time. Rehearsals will begin around November 4th. A formal rehearsal schedule will be provided once a calendar can be assembled including conflicts. You MUST be available for ALL performances (December 5th - 8th and December 12th - 15th) and tech week rehearsals on (November 29th - December 4th). If you are interested, please apply.
