Production of "Brother Rat" Seeks Performers

ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. The theatre is seeking three Edmonton-based performers who are strong actors and musicians for an upcoming production of "Brother Rat". Please, see the details below. About the show: Brother Rat follows the band Theresa Give Me That Knife as they play a loud and dirty punk show in downtown Edmonton. The play focuses on the relationships between the band members and their individual struggles with substance abuse, houslessness and the mental health sector. Rate: Artists will be paid according to ITA rates corresponding to the house size. Additional information: First Day of Rehearsal: October 29th, 2024. Performance Dates: November 26th – December 8th, 2024. When applying, please submit a headshot, CV, and which role(s) you are interested in. Please specify a date preference of either TUESDAY, JULY 30th and/or WEDNESDAY, JULY 31st. The audition will consist of reading sides and playing a song. Directors will reply to your application with a short song to learn for your audition date.
