Premature crow's feet from a life devoted to the office. Professional, tense, knowledgeable.
Stern and rugged. A general contractor by trade, his current job has given him survival experience he never wanted to have.
Never misses a beat. A high ranking corporate scion, she's perfectly prepared to fire anyone who doesn't comply.
Greying. An animal behaviorist with a doting maternal attitude towards her assistants.
Lots of fun. Holds her beer well, knows everybody, and has a laugh like a bell.
Gruff. Has seen things we don't want to know about. Fortunately, he doesn't talk about them. Protective.
Genius, idealistic. Fixates on a subject and doesn't let go until he's explored it as thoroughly as he can--often to his own detriment.
Sardonic, commanding. Throws insults as quickly as she gives compliments. Too "overbearingly female" to be of much comfort to her employers, which is exactly as she likes it.
Arrogant, cowardly. A man whose entire upbringing has prepared him for sedate intelligentsia and softened him to the point of panic when danger approaches.
No-nonsense. Committed to protecting those under her care. Vigilant, yet a constant worrier.
Serious. Will crack a joke from time to time, but knows when professionalism is the best course of action.
Excitable, presumptuous. Thinks she has all the answers, but finds genuine joy in imparting information to those who don't have it. Feels this is her calling.
Lethargic. A sentimental drunk. Lacks awareness in most situations.
Has a position of power and abuses it. The term "Chad" wasn't around when this story takes place, but Cassidy would probably embrace it.
Thinks of himself as an alpha male, rages against women who rank higher than him. The fact that he gladly takes marching orders from a female employer doesn't seem to have registered with him,
Friendlier, more accepting in the workplace than his cohorts are--but at the end of the day, it's hard to tell the difference.
Kind of a goof, a bit of a nerd, and surprisingly brave.
A mixological genius--and not very bright when it comes to anything else.
