Audition for Musical "A Symphony For Portland"

A cheerful, yet homeless college student. A baritone/bass.

An undernourished homeless man. A Tenor.

Homeless college student and prostitute. Outwardly head strong, irreverent, but caring for her homeless family. A soprano.

Homeless woman. A former victim of sex trafficking, she clings to her homeless family. An alto.

Soon to be 18 year old. A homeschooled high school senior raised under her over‐protective grandfather’s care. With her parents killed right after she was born, she longs for a normal family and to experience true love. She is open and talkative to strangers, but lacks experience and better judgment, falling in love with the first man who flirts with her. A soprano.

After losing his daughter and son‐in law in an accident that took the lives of his wife, daughter and son‐in‐law, he has been doing his best to raise his granddaughter, Starr. Still full of unbearable, unspeakable grief, he has become a work obsessed, cell phone addicted, father figure to Starr, A tenor.

Good looking sex trafficker. Finds himself falling in love with Starr. A baritone/bass.

An ex‐police officer and pimp boss. A devious personality that even Jesse capitulates to. Non‐singing role.

As Isaiah, a police detective and Jordan’s father. He spends much of his time on stage looking for his son. Has duet with Dad. A baritone/bass.

The bubbly, caring choir director of the homeless choir. Has a small solo. A very strong, high soprano.
