Talent Wanted for "Flawed: The Musical"

Tenor. June has a very versatile career with various projects, including commercials and TV series, but it is musical theater that truly holds a special place in his heart. Despite his professional accomplishments, June is facing a personal struggle related to his sexuality.

Alto/Soprano. Chelsea is a vivacious character, known for her bold and vibrant style. She always keeps her hair perfectly done and is often seen wearing eye-catching colors that match her outgoing personality. Chelsea is confident and unapologetically herself in every situation, never shying away from expressing her opinions or emotions.

Tenor. Andy is the epitome of privilege and entitlement. He has had every advantage handed to him since a young age. Andy is faced with the reality of not being cast in Grace Jones' new musical and his true colors come to light. Desperate to secure a spot on the tour, Andy is willing to go to great lengths to ensure his own success, even if it means stepping on others to get there.

Baritone/Tenor. Chris is a kind-hearted and talented individual who excels in the theatre world. Chris values his friendship with Andy, however their bond is tested when Andy prioritizes personal gain over the well-being of others, causing Chris to question their relationship.

Alto/Soprano- Samantha is a passionate and determined young woman with a deep love for musical theater. She is fiercely loyal to her friends including Andy and possesses a kind and gentle demeanor, combined with a strong sense of justice and integrity. As a natural leader, she is empathetic and understanding, always willing to stand up for what is right, even if it means making difficult choices or facing conflict.

Alto/Soprano. Grace Jones is a renowned musical theatre legend with a commanding presence and an impeccable sense of style. Her reputation as a strict and disciplined teacher precedes her, with many aspiring performers eager to learn from her expertise. Grace exudes confidence and demands attention wherever she goes, effortlessly capturing the spotlight with her magnetic personality. In addition to her talent as a performer, Grace also has a knack for writing and producing her own shows.

Non singer. Terrel is a rapper who believes he is better than he actually is. He struggles to achieve success and puts more effort into pursuing the streets, hip hop culture, and other women than improving himself. Despite his love for his girlfriend, his destructive behavior hinders his ambition and relationship. (This is the only non-singing role. Please submit slate and 1 minute monologue for your audition)

The ensemble will play many small roles in the shows and most of them have solos and some featured singing and dancing.
