"Much Ado About Nothing" Stage Play Needs Senior Actors
Actors over the age of 55 sought for play "Much Ado About Nothing". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. Additional info: Theatre hopes to provide the experience of theater to senior citizens, regardless of ability, age, experience, or background, and create a network of mature performers who can become an active and vibrant part of theater community for years to come. No experience necessary! Whether you’re a seasoned actor or a first timer, directors want to work with you. Auditions will consist of cold readings from sides from the play. Any seniors (55 and over) who can provide their own transportation to and from rehearsals/performances and are interested in theater can audition. As always, Theatre honors diversity and non-traditional casting practices. Performances Friday, September 6, 2024 at 8PM Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 2 PM and 8PM Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2PM First Rehearsal: August 2024. Tech Rehearsals will take place on the evenings of September 3-5, 2024. Directors will try to schedule rehearsals to accommodate those cast, but are looking at Saturday afternoons and Sunday evenings. For Your Appointment: Arrive at scheduled audition 15 minutes early to complete necessary paperwork. A: Please be prepared to do cold readings from the script. B: Provide a picture of yourself.
