About the project: When a struggling musician sees an opportunity to elevate her career, she risks her livelihood, steps out of her comfort zone, and confronts the worst parts of herself and the people around her to see it through. Additional information: Films in August in the Edmonton Area. Please pay attention to the required skills. Self-tapes will be accepted. Sides and music will be provided for Carla/Kenna. When applying, please submit head shot & demo reel if applicable.

Skills: Guitar, Singing. A struggling and jaded musician that gets an opportunity to jump- start her career. She must overcome her guarded personality and learn to trust others.
Skills: Piano, Singing. A nepo-baby with a passion and talent for music. Her insecurities put her at odds with Carla's raw personality as she struggles to accept her own strengths.
Skills: None required. A motel manager with a deep, but not infinite, well of patience who's fallen on hard times.
Skills: none required. The program director of the arts centre's "Young Songwriter's Program". He's enthusiastic about what he does, but also represents the elitist undertones of the arts centre's 'in' group.
