About the project: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a hilarious and heartfelt musical that follows a group of quirky adolescents as they compete in a spelling bee, each hoping to win the ultimate prize. With a fast-paced and witty script, this show offers a range of dynamic roles and memorable musical numbers. Rate: $550.00 – $600.00 per week. Additional info: Rehearsal and Performance Dates: - Rehearsals: Sept 3rd-Sept 18th - Performances: Sept 19th - Sept 29th Looking for non-union actors who identify as adaptable and kind. This is an intense, shortened process. Directors are looking for actors who save the drama for the stage. Audition Requirements: -Recorded Monologue: Please record a comedic or happy monologue. -Recorded Song: Please record 32 bars of a song from the show that showcases your vocal range. (Auditions without a song from the show will not be considered.)
