Seeking Male and Female Cast For Upcoming Shows

Directors are casting for original musical "Smoke: A Ballad of the Night Riders" and the thriller "Spirit: The Authentic Story of the Bell Witch". Looking for cast. About the project: "Smoke: A Ballad of the Night Riders": Smoke is a musical, ensemble heavy show set on the tobacco farmlands of Kentucky and Northern TN, known as the Black Patch, in the early 20th century. We follow the Hartley family as they embark on a war against big tobacco corporations. You’ll see big business at its worst and the tobacco company’s role in turning farmer against farmer, brother against brother, and its backlash – giving birth to the masked vigilantes: The Night Riders. "Spirit: The Authentic Bell Witch Experience": Spirit tells the story of the Bell family tormented by a Spirit – The Bell Witch. Set on the original grounds of the Bell family, this play is set in the early 19th century, following the Bell family with a large ensemble cast. Rate: All roles are paid. Additional info: Equity roles available. Please download the audition form attached beforehand and bring it with you day of. Audition Information: Actors auditioning for both shows will need to bring headshots and resumes for each show you are auditioning for. Auditions will consist of readings from the scripts, no monologue is required. If you are auditioning for Smoke: please also prepare a 16 bar cut of a song, preferably in the style of the show. Bring either printed sheet music or recorded mp3 accompaniment. No a cappella auditions please. Please be prepared to stay a little longer than your allotted time for additional reading is needed. "Smoke" Show Dates: Sept. 26, 27, 28 Oct. 3, 4, 5 Rehearsals will begin mid August. "Spirit" Show Dates: Oct. 17, 18, 19 Oct. 24, 25, 26 Rehearsals will begin early September.
