Part Size: Lead Vocal Part: Tenor (Range: B2-C5) Dance: Should be able to move well to music A smooth-talking, womanizing, charmer. Totally non-committal and living for the moment. He is thoroughly content with the life he's chosen as the singer/bartender/playboy at Margaritaville, until he meets Rachel, who steals his heart. Guitar skills are useful.

Part Size: Lead Vocal Part: Mezzo-Soprano (Range: A3-F#5) Dance: Moderate dance movement An environmental scientist, laser focused, fully committed to her job and helping the world. Willing to do work hard and commit to be successful, she is not easily distracted from her life plan until she vacations in Margaritaville. There she begins to relax, settle down to realizes there other important aspects of her life, one of which eventually includes Tully.

Part Size: Lead Vocal Part: Mezzo-Soprano (Range: B3-F5) Dance: Moderate dance movement Best friend to Rachel. Fun loving. She always tries to see the best in people. She has a genuine love for life that is usually crushed by her controlling fiancé, Chadd. Her lack of self-assurance prevents her from enjoying life to the fullest. While on her bachelorette vacation with Rachel she discovers Brick who develops genuine feelings for her, He endearingly helps her to rediscover her self-worth

Part Size: Lead Vocal Part: Tenor (Range: A2-C5) Dance: Possible tapping, moderate dance movement Bartender at Margaritaville. He is a good and faithful friend to Tully. Not a “rocket scientist”, he is thoughtful and sweet with a big heart. A heart he earnestly gives to Tammy.

Part Size: Supporting – solid singer Vocal Part: Soprano (with belt) (Range: G#3-G#5) Owner and proprietor of the Margaritaville hotel/bar. A hard working and assertive person who loves to be “in the know”. She runs the resort and keeps tabs on everyone and everything. She truly cares about everyone in her life, including her employees, customers and "unwanted" love interest, J.D., (a “senior” island resident).

Part Size: Supporting Vocal Part: Baritone (Range: G2-D4) A light-hearted, good-natured, “senior” island transplant who loves his liquor (and Marley). A kind of modern-day, one-eyed pirate/beach-bum, who spends his days at the bar. socializing with the staff and guests. Always scribbling something on bar napkins, which surprisingly reveals the memoir of a surprisingly different J.D. and very full life he has lived. Ukulele skills are useful.
