It follows a diverse group of individuals with distinct dreams whose lives intersect at the café. Beneath the surface, hidden agendas emerge as each character harbours their own secret motive. Rate: Non-Union. Volunteer positions offer excellent exposure, with meals provided and transportation covered. IMDb credit, BTS photography, and reel footage are provided. Shawn, an Asian Canadian, works as the café cashier while chasing his dream of becoming a stand-up comedian. He's quick-witted, but also critical and sensitive. His careful and detailed approach shows how serious he is about his dream.
Maria, the café owner, exudes sophistication with a calm and gentle exterior, but beneath that lies a passionate and kind-hearted soul.
Joel, the café chef, has a tough exterior but a gentle heart. He's a tough guy who can create delicate desserts.
