Lead. (A3-f5) Mezzo- Soprano. lines (estimate 225 lines) the show's protagonist. Anne is solemn, and yearns for her lover Captain wentworth. The actress who plays Anne must be available often, be a strong singer, and have great control over her voice. must be a Dancer.
Lead. (G#2-g4/Ab4) Baritone/tenor. the show's protagonist. Captain Wentworth has returned from sea after being absent for 8 years, he is solemn reserved, but polite, and caring. The actor must be a strong singer and moderate dancer,
Lead. (F2-G4) Baritone/tenor The show's antagonist. William attempts to suitor Anne, to get to her family's fortune, and has strong alternative motives. Must be a strong singer, and a novice dancer.
Lead. ( A3-g5) Mezzo- Soprano. The show's protagonist. During the show, Louisa falls in love with Captain Wentowrth. She is dainty, childish, and overall has a “disney princess” quality to her. Must be a strong dancer, with acro experience. Must be a strong singer too.
Lead. (C4- d5) Alto. The show's protagonist, and is Anne’s godmother and closest companion. She is firm, tactical, and stands on business! Must have a strong stage presence!
Principle. (Non- Singer). Sir Walter is Anne, Mary, and elizbeths, father. He is vain, and extremely zany. Must have a strong stage presence, and be prone to comedy.
Principle. (B3-D4) Alto. Mary is a hypochondriac, is extremely zany, and all terms of it, a character. She is often complaining about visiting, hosting parties, and the responsibilities she has. Her singing style is more on par with a “character voice” . Must be a novice to advanced dancer, and must be prone to comedy, and stage presence.
Principle. (B3-D4) Alto. Vain and obsessed with her appearance, Elizabeth often flirts with William, for she believes he has come back to bath to suitor her. Must be a strong actress, and have stage presence. Dancing is minimal, and singing is more on par with a “Character Voice”
Principle. (A3-f#5). Mezzo-Soprano. Anne’s friend who resides in bath. She is poor, but doesn't let her circumstances affect her. Miss Smith also reveals to Anne about Williams' alternative motives. Must be a strong singer, be able to convey a zany personality, while also conveying a sad, serious demeanor. non-dancer.
Principle. (Eb4-D5). Soprano. Though miss smith may come off as sweet and personable, most of our main cast questions her motives involving sir walter eliot, though miss smith may have a trick up her sleeve. Actress must also have stage presence, be zany, and have “character Voice”
Supporting Character. (c3-c4) Baritone. One of captain Wentworth's companions, Beniwick is reserved and keeps to himself during the lyme trip because of his fiance's untimely passing. He is solemn and not very sociable. Towards the end after an engagement occurs, he can finally find happiness. Must be a strong actor and singer. non - dancer
Supporting Character. (Non-singer) Louisa’s older sister. Whereas louisa is social, admirable and outgoing. Heneriata is calm, collective, and tries to guide louisa. Must be a strong actress. Must be a novice dancer.
Supporting Character. (Non-Singer). Captain Wentworth’s and Captain benwicks companion. Captain Harville is sociable, kind, and often outspoken. Must be a strong actor. Non-dancer
Supporting Character. (Non Singer) Charles is Mary's wife. Charles is sociable, and comedic. Must be a strong actor. Non dancer
Featured Character. (d4-bb6) (Soprano) She performs at the opera in bath. Must be a strong singer. non - Dancer
