About the project: A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances - this musical is so much fun, it should be illegal! Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world. Additional info: Prepare 16 bars of ballad and bring the karaoke track to auditions or plan to sing a cappella (songs from the show are acceptable). There is an audition fee. The audition packet & audition form are attached. Callbacks: Wednesday, April 24th 7:00 – 9:00pm. Dress rehearsals are Sunday, July 28th - Wednesday, July 30th in the evening. Directors anticipate rehearsals running until about 10:00pm. Cast members will be required to arrive at least 1.5 hours pre-show for every performance. Performances for Legally Blonde will be: Thursday, August 1st at 7:00pm Friday, August 2nd at 7:00pm Saturday, August 3rd at 2:00pm and 7:00pm Sunday, August 4th at 2:00pm and 6pm If you are interested, please apply.
