The company is holding auditions for "The Prom" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Four fading Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. So, when they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town Indiana prom – and the press is involved – they know it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue …. And themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the dance on the straight and narrow – but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny. Now, Broadway’s brassiest are coming to join the fight and they are ready to kick-ball-change the world. Additional info: Please prepare a short vocal selection that best shows your abilities and range (bring sheet music if selection is not from the show). Wear comfortable clothing and footwear for dance audition. Also expect cold-readings from the script for key roles. Performance Dates: August 9, 10, 16, 17 at 7:30PM; August 18 at 2PM Tentative Rehearsal Schedule: Sundays from 6 – 9:00PM; Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 – 10:00PM, Rehearsals starting Sunday, June 9.
