Talent Wanted for "Ruddigore" Production
The company is holding auditions for "Ruddigore" Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Rate: Non-AEA, Non-AGMA, all-volunteer community theater. Additional info: Production will take place August 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 & 18, 2024. Rehearsals begin in mid-May, Sunday, Monday, and Thursday evenings, with intermittent Saturday mornings. Download and fill out audition form including all conflicts from May 10 – August 19, 2024. Bring your completed Audition Form with you to your audition. Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled audition time. At the audition, be prepared to sing about 1 to 2 minutes (approximately 16-32 bars) of a song or aria. Light opera is preferable, however, a classical song in English, opera aria in English or a classic musical theatre song from the Golden Age of Broadway (generally pre-1965, for instance by Rogers and Hammerstein) is also acceptable. Directors want to hear your singing voice and your English diction. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a photocopy of your song with the measures to be sung, clearly marked for the accompanist. A cappella singing or use of karaoke tracks are not acceptable. Please apply if interested.
