Seeking performers for "The Wizard Of Oz" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Follow the yellow brick road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s beloved tale, features the iconic musical score from the MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz, continues to thrill audiences worldwide. Additional info: Prepare a song from a musical to perform at the audition (do not select a song from The Wizard of Oz). Bring your own music track to perform with, a Bluetooth speaker and cables will be available for use. A piano is available if you want to bring your own accompanist to play for you. Miss Gulch/Wicked Witch & Prof Marvel/The Wizard are non-singing roles, those interested in auditioning for these roles will do cold readings from the script. The show is scheduled for July 11-14 & 18-21, 2024. Rehearsals will be scheduled 2-3 times a week beginning in April. If interested, please apply.
