He is the father of Mia, a young woman who recently died in a car accident. Mr. Novotny is described as a grizzled pot-belly drunk with an unshaven face who is coasting on disability as Honey (a PI) investigates Mia’s bedroom.
He’s a bartender at the Hilton Garden Inn where he shares a one-word conversation with Colligan prior to witnessing his murder through a window. He’s “another day at the office” type.
Blonde, she’s in bed with Honey after a night of fooling around & red wine. Lanky, androgynous, younger than Honey. Her hair mussed, face slightly flushed, smiling in a dreamy state. MUST be comfortable w/implied nudity (but no actual nudity); she will be laying under the sheets next to a female.

A well-groomed & slick gay man who is cheating on his boyfriend. A simple drug purchase at a local dive bar takes a violent, fatal turn.
