About the project: SmartSweets is on a mission to Kick Sugar, Keep Candy! The company make the delicious candy you know and love with up to 92% less sugar than traditional candy. We are proudly Female-Founded and on the way to kick 5.5 billion grams of excess sugar out of candy in a single year (what we call our Mission to Mars). We are proud of our sweet culture and accomplishments. The recent accolades include a certified Great Place to Work (3 years in a row), Waterstone Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Culture Winner, NielsonIQ Breakthrough Innovation Award Winner and Instacart’s Emerging Brand List. Rate: The approximate base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $68,000. The actual base salary will be based on various factors, including the candidate’s level of skills, experience, and education aligned with the needs of the role, budget, and market. This position is eligible for participation in a bonus program based on performance and company results. In addition to the base salary, they offer a comprehensive benefits (Sweet Perks) package. Additional info: How You Will Grow the Mission: Build a strategic social media calendar to align with brand campaigns, product launches, retailer calendars and other marketing initiatives Pitch strategic social media content ideas to grow engagement on social media, with our primary channels being Instagram and TikTok Video content creation, from ideation to filming to posting, for Instagram Reels and TikTok. Must be comfortable being in front of the camera Develop creative briefs for content across all social media channels and collaborate with our design team to ensure the successful execution Monitor campaign-specific social media KPIs and maintain a monthly performance dashboard. Present insights to the marketing team and co-CEO monthly Track the social media performance of leading brands on social, as well as competitors and other CPG industry leaders. Report findings to the Marketing team as needed Stay updated on social media best practices and trends, experimenting with innovative strategies to boost engagement and grow followers. Coordinate social media schedule with the Customer Experience team Manage social media brand collaborations and contests from ideation to execution Collaborate with external content creators to produce compelling and engaging content Work closely with the Influencer & Partnerships Team to leverage opportunities on earned platforms. Generate content for diverse marketing platforms, including paid ads and other channels as required What You Bring: 4+ years experience in social media, content, and communications (ideation, coordination, and strategy) You live and breathe social media and current pop-culture trends Creative and strategic thinking, and content ideas come naturally to you A deep desire to dream bigger and position SmartSweets as a trailblazer in the CPG industry Video editing skills: You are very familiar with TikTok & Reels editing and optimization You are comfortable being featured on our social media channels Self-starter that can manage multiple projects and daily tasks Experience in CPG is an asset, but not required If interested, please apply.
