About the project: Spring awakening is a coming-of-age rock musical with music by Duncan Sheik and a book and lyrics by Steven Sater, based on the German play from 1891 called The Awakening of Spring by Frank Wedekind. The musical follows a group of young teenagers attending school in the late 19th-century, as they battle with their developing sexuality and desire for freedom within the social and moral restrictions enforced upon them by parents and teachers. Rate: Non union. This is a volunteer based production. Additional information: SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S): May 8th-11th. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE LOCATION(S): Delta, BC.
