About the project: Set in a small French provincial village in the 1930’s, The Baker’s Wife is a gently comic and bittersweet fable of life, love and bread. An amiable older baker and his beautiful wife come to a small town replete with petty feuds and comically calcified relationships. When the wife runs off with a handsome young chauffeur, the town is changed forever. Additional info: Callbacks will be by invitation only. Tuesday, December 19, 7:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. To be considered for a role, auditioners must provide proof of vaccination. All auditionees will be given the opportunity to sing and read. Prepare 16-32 bars of a song from a Broadway Musical that showcases your range AND ability to tell a story through song. An Accompanist will be provided.
