"Cabaret" Musical Show Looking for Performers

The company is holding auditions for "Cabaret" (1998 Version) Show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Additional info: Those auditioning should prepare 32 bars (90 seconds) of a song from the musical theater repertoire in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music to the audition. The first part of the audition slot will consist of singing and readings from the script (if applicable). This will be followed by a dance audition for those seeking to be cast in a dance intensive role. DANCE INTENSIVE ROLES Those auditioning for a dance intensive role (The Emcee, Sally, or a member of the KitKat ensemble) should wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for dancing (jazz shoes/sneakers or character shoes). The preliminary audition will consist of singing and a short dance combination. Readings from the script will be done at callbacks. NON-DANCE INTENSIVE Those auditioning exclusively for Cliff, Schneider, Schultz (or any other non-dance intensive role) should be prepared to sing and read from sides which will be emailed out prior to the audition Performances Dates: Friday May 3 - 8pm Saturday May 4 - 2pm & 8pm Thursday May 9 & Friday, May 10 - 8pm Saturday May 11 - 2pm & 8pm Thursday May 16 & Friday, May 17 - 8pm Saturday May 18 - 2pm & 8pm ​Please apply if interested.
