Seeking Dance Talent for Upcoming Music Videos
Local music video producer seeking dance talent for upcoming music video projects. Solo Dancers / Troupes / Choreographers are all encouraged to apply! We're expanding into dance-driven/supplemented videos to increase the options we can provide clients. A talent release must be signed promptly once casting is finalized. You are welcome to bring a chaperone to any shoot. Availability in March/April is preferred, but we'll have a regular need for these types of roles. Please apply regardless of present availability. We hope to connect with fellow artists who are interested in collaborating. Prior experience is preferred, but not required. Please provide a resume, head-shot, & portfolio samples if interested in participating! We'll reply to schedule a conversation to briefly discuss your experience, passion for your craft, availability for specific roles, etc.
4 roles
You would design and/or perform a choreographed or freestyle dance routine performed by a solo dancer or troupe. Filmed in a highly produced cinematographical style. Utilizes gimbal for frequent camera motion. Our music videos are generally created for local Chicago artists. All video content will be PG-rated or cleaner.
Video opens w/musical artist delivering a statement announcing his new single, then asking the audience the question "But can you dance to it?" Inter-cuts between different dancers trying to improvise dances to the track. While this would likely be designed as a low budget/TFP role, we are open to the prospect of cross promotion (say, including your Instagram handle in a lower 3rd graphic) if the client is willing to permit this.
General call for dance talent for upcoming paid client projects. We are open to collaborate on (or pitch to clients) additional ideas that aren't listed here and will value your input as a collaborator. Our music videos are generally created for local Chicago artists. All video content should be PG/PG13-rated or cleaner.
General call for upcoming spec projects. Apply here if you'd consider unpaid projects. Our policy as working professionals is to fairly compensate fellow artists for any work of a commercially viable nature (if we get paid, you should get paid). However, we also recognize that occasionally completing pure spec projects (where the creative team can take full control w/o the need to meet specific client obligations) is often more beneficial towards showcasing team capability in the long run.
