The company is holding auditions for 9 to 5: The Musical and looking for performers, please see the details below, ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: 9 to 5: The Musical, nominated for four Tony and 15 Drama Desk Awards, based on the hit 1980 movie, features a vibrant Dolly Parton score, and tells the uplifting story of working women pushed to the boiling point standing up for themselves against the male-dominated management, and winning! Additional info: Callbacks at discretion of the director. Rehearsals will begin Feb 12th. Performances will be April 19- May 5, 2024 with shows on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday matinees. Please prepare 32-bars of a song in the style of the show. Please bring your backing track on a device such as a phone or tablet or sheet music for our accompanist. Cold readings from sides will be provided during the audition. Please apply if interested.
