About the project: "Based on the best-selling novel, and later made into a major motion picture, this Tony Award winning musical focuses on a forbidden love affair between a disillusioned housewife and a photographer that changes them forever." Additional info: Registration begins at 4:30 PM. You will be required to fill out an audition form upon arrival. A resume and headshot are optional but would be appreciated. AUDITION INFORMATION: Please prepare a song from a Broadway musical that best showcases your vocal range and fits the style of the character(s) you are interested in auditioning for. Limit your selection to 1 minute or about 32 bars. No accompanist will be provided. You may use a smartphone recording of your accompaniment or karaoke track, however no back tracks are allowed. An auxiliary cord and Bluetooth speaker will be provided. Absolutely no acapella singing will be allowed. Please dress comfortably and wear character, dance shoes, sneakers, or other comfortable shoes. (No sandals, flip flops, or bare feet) Be ready to learn and perform some movement.
