Casting Call For Musical "Fiddler On The Roof"
"Fiddler On The Roof" show needs cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the breakdown below. Additional info: Audition Requirements: Please prepare 32 bars of music from a song in a similar style to the show that best shows your voice and range. Legible sheet music must be provided for the rehearsal pianist/music director. Please wear or bring appropriate clothes and shoes for the dance portion of the audition. If you are invited to call backs, music cuts and sides from the show will be provided. Callbacks: Monday, January 22nd: 7:30pm - 10:00pm. 10 performances will run April 6th - April 21st, 2024. REHEARSAL INFO: Rehearsals to begin in February of 2024. Exact rehearsal schedule will be set once the availability of all actors is learned but will take place during weekday evenings and weekends (depending on role and when called). BEFORE YOU AUDITION, be advised that all actors must be available for rehearsals that are to be scheduled according to the actor's role. It is mandatory for actors to be available for all scheduled evening tech rehearsals (March 31st - April 5th) and 10 performances (April 6th - April 21st, 2024). (Female Identifying, Mezzo-Soprano: Low A-E flat) His wife. Though controlling and stern, a woman with a big heart and dreams for her children. Strong singer.
(Female Identifying, Alto: Low F- mid E flat) A matchmaker. Talkative, opinionated, widow. Character with humor.
(Male Identifying, Baritone: up to an Eb) A wealthy butcher. Strong middle aged character man with a sense of humor and possible girth.
