About the project: Join us for a heartwarming and timeless tale of tradition, love, and the challenges of change in a small Jewish village in Tsarist Russia. “Fiddler on the Roof” is a classic musical that explores the importance of family, faith, and the struggle to maintain traditions in the face of a changing world. Additional info: Please prepare 60 seconds of a song from the musical, if you are auditioning for a specific role. Bring a karaoke track on your cell phone; an adapter in order to play it will be provided. Actors may be asked to read scenes from the script. Wear comfortable clothing for a short dance audition; no prepared dance routine necessary. No headshot, resume or experience required. Underage auditionees must have a parent in the production, unless approved by director. Rehearsals will begin on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 Rehearsals typically are Monday – Thursday 5:30pm-8:30pm Some roles require much less rehearsal time A detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided at the first rehearsal.
