Auditions for "Once" a show. Directors are looking for actors. Please see the details below. About the project: Rate: $817 weekly minimum (Tier 1). Additional info: Please prepare a short song in the style of the show and be prepared to accompany yourself. A piano and amp will be provided in the audition room. Mezzo-Soprano Intelligent, no nonsense, and witty. Should have something ‘other’ about her. Has had to work hard at life but doesn’t think she deserves any sympathy. Plays the piano and sings extremely well. Has a strong Czech (Eastern European) accent.
Baritone. A struggling Irish musician. Lost and a bit sad, but extremely appealing. Works with his Da in a vacuum repair shop. Sings and plays guitar extremely well. Has a strong Irish accent.
Baritone. A large Irish man. Owner of the music store where Girl plays piano. Loud, funny and protective of Girl but also has a vulnerability. Sings and plays guitar* well. Has a strong Irish accent.
Alto. Mother of Girl. A cool and caring Czech mother who likes a full house and full stomachs. Doesn’t possess many inhibitions. Sings and plays the accordion/piano* well. Has a strong Czech (Eastern European) accent
Vocal type open. Seems quite prim and proper but has a secret passion for music. Sings and plays guitar* and/or cello* well. Has a strong Irish (Cork) accent.
