Tenor, a young man who has a way with his words, witty and is sent on a journey to save the love of his life.
Soprano, a young girl who has always been head over heels for Joringel. However; she is turned into a bird and must be saved.
Alto, Elingale is the remaining witch who wants to stay young forever. Lucinda is Jorinda’s mother who was turned into a bird and never returned.
Soprano Alto, Azul is the sister of Elingale who has turned good and runs a village in the woods… Meri is the mother of Joringel, a woodcutter, who just wants what’s best for her son.
Baritenor, Stefan is the father of Jorinda, a baker, who worries too much… the shepherd is well, a shepherd who does not want to be a shepherd any longer.
