Casting singers for "White Christmas". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis had a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and the perennial title song, “White Christmas” is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages. Additional info: CALLBACKS: Saturday, October 7th - Invitation only Dance: 12:30 PM, Reading/Singing Call Backs: 2:30 PM. MUSIC: Please prepare a 16-32 bar (roughly 1 minute) musical theater song, or a song in the style of the show. Pop songs and songs from the show are welcome! A pianist and Bluetooth speaker will be provided. Please bring music in the correct key or have music cued up to where your singing will begin. No tracks with backing vocals or acapella auditions, please! COLD READ: You may be asked to read from the Script. Sides will be provided. DANCE: Dancing will be done at the callbacks on Saturday, October 7th, by invitation only, If you have any skills like stilt walking, juggling, tumbling, tapping ...etc. please be prepared to showcase these abilities at the dance call and bring any gear/items that may assist you in doing so. REHEARSALS: Begin Monday, October 16th at 7:00 PM. Rehearsals generally run Mondays -Thursdays, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM & Saturdays from 10:00 PM - 1:00 PM, with additional Sundays as necessary. PERFORMANCES: December 7th (Preview Night) at 8:00 PM December 8th at 8:00 PM December 9th 2:00PM & 8:00PM December 10th, 2:00 PM December 15th at 8:00 PM December 16th at 2:00PM & 8:00PM December 17th at 2:00 PM (Followed by Strike) All cast and crew will be expected to follow Covid19 protocols set forth by GPAC.
