Looking for perfomers to play roles in production of "Radium Girls". More details are below. About the play: Radium Girls is a hauntingly beautiful play about strength, justice, corporate betrayal and having your voice heard. It is set in a Brooklyn factory where women meticulously paint watches that glow in the dark for the men at war and follows their stories as they begin to re-alize the radium they delicately paint with every day is poisoning them - leading them on a journey for justice. Additional information: THE TIME: The 1920s. THE PLACE: Orange, New Jersey. SHOW DATES: FEBRUARY 2024 9th -11th, 16th-18th in Fergus. Open audition no appointment needed. The production will include elements of dance, music, and atmospheric movement to the tremendous story of Radium Girls. Movement will be a part of the audition process so please dress comfortably and prepare to learn some choreography. Cold read from script and basic choreography. The ability to do accents, character aging and follow basic choreography is essential for some roles. The size of the cast is flexible with actors (except for the main roles) playing various roles as necessary. The dancers will also be expected to cover some roles.
