(Tenor) the "future" Josh remains a steadfast best friend to Joy. He is full of compassion and empathy. Always there for his friend through the good times and bad.

Ms. Miller/Adult JoyFemale30-39 y.o.All ethnicities

(Mezzo): She has a nice balance between being friends with high school students as well as being an authority figure. MS. MILLER is the guidance counsellor who easily transitions between nostalgia, optimism, and pessimism. Seems as if when talking to students, she is also reflecting on her own life. She has always been optimistic, but is now faced with a life she didn't expect or want. She has been loyal to her friend Josh and husband Matt, despite the challenges.
