About the project: One fateful night, Brad Majors and his fiancée, Janet Weiss — a wholesome, well-behaved, utterly normal young couple in love — innocently set out to visit an old professor. Unfortunately for them, this night out is destined to be one they will never forget. A thunderstorm and a flat-tire force them to seek help at the castle of Dr. Frank ’N’ Furter, an alien, transvestite scientist with a manic genius and insatiable libido. Brad, Janet, and Frank’ N’ Furter’s cohorts are swept up into the scientist’s latest experiment. The night’s misadventures will cause Brad and Janet to question everything they’ve known about themselves, each other, love, and lust. A loving homage to the classic B sci-fi film and horror genres with an irresistible rock’n’roll score, The Rocky Horror Show is a hilarious, wild ride that no audience will soon forget. Rate: There is no pay. Additional info: Prepare to sing character’s song from the show. Bring a headshot and resume. Rehearsals start June 19th. Mon.-Thurs. 7-10 pm & Sat. 11 am-4 pm. The show performs August 4th – 27th Thurs – Sat at 7:30, Sun at 2:00 pm. All ethnicities and gender identifications are encouraged to audition. (Mezzo-Soprano, D#5/Eb5-A3) Timid, naïve, and innocent Janet is a shy young woman who doesn’t care for adventure or outlandish parties. She’s pure and uptight, preferring to be just a normal fiancée, engaged to a normal and average man like Brad. (Sing Toucha Toucha Me)
(Tenor, B4-D3) Riff Raff is a Transylvanian who came to Earth with his sister Magenta and his master, Frank-N-Furter. He has an unusually intimate relationship with his sister and a jealousy complex with Frank. (Sing Time Warp)
