Seeking talent for the "Wizard of Oz" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The fanciful and heartwarming tale of Dorothy who wishes for a better life, a better place, and is transported to OZ, where there are good and bad witches and friends to help her as she realizes that there is no place like home after all. Rate: All roles paid. Additional info: - Please prepare 16 bars of two songs, one upbeat, and one ballad. Bring sheet music in your key; an accompanist will be provided. No a cappella auditions. There will also be cold readings from the script/ songbook. - Student actors are asked to bring a recent picture – a professional headshot is not required for student actors. 1st rehearsal: March 14, 2023. - Opens April 14, 2023 runs through May 28, 2023 (Thursday - Sunday evenings, Saturday and Sunday matinees, select weekday matinees). - Both Equity and Non-Equity Actors are welcome. - Equity Contract: Special Appearance, Level TBA. - Callbacks: In Person – February 15, 3:00 PM- 8:00 PM. Plan to be present for the entire time. If you are interested, please apply to schedule an audition appointment.
