About the project: A zany, entertaining musical that takes a satirical poke at Agatha Christie mysteries and musical styles of the English music hall of the ‘30s. Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country house during a raging thunderstorm. One by one they’re picked off by cleverly fiendish devices. As the bodies pile up in the library, the survivors frantically race to uncover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit. Rate: Stipend Additional info: - Callback Dates: Mar. 4, 2023, at 2 pm - Rehearsal Dates: Beginning the week of Mar. 26, 2023 - Performance Dates: May 5-21, 2023 Friday and Saturday evenings Sunday afternoons - Requirements: Please bring a resume and headshot, if available. Be prepared to sing a song that highlights your voice. An accompanist will NOT be provided; instead, please bring your accompaniment on your phone. (A Bluetooth speaker will be available to connect to.) Be prepared to read scenes from the script. Dance call will take place at callbacks. Rehearsals will be in Allen beginning around the week of March 26. All conflicts must be noted at the time of the audition. Unless otherwise noted, all characters speak with proper English accents.
