Thesis Zombie Comedy Film "Monstrum Opus" Seeks Extras
Seeking extras to play “film crew members” in the comedy film "Monstrum Opus". Additional details can be found below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: A low-budget zombie film's only zombie makeup artist goes missing, derailing the entire shoot. Until... he is discovered in the woods, unconscious and infected by a novel moth virus. Is this a production nightmare or the best thing that ever happened to them? A dark comedy dealing with the tragedy of ambition, loosely based on Shakespeare's Macbeth. Rate: $50 per day if non-student, and food and credit. If a student, lots of love and food and credit. Additional info: Commitment: 2.5 days, approximately around 2/20-22 (TBD). The location is 35-40 minutes away from Austin. Rides can be provided. Has the most lines, a few solo shots, and will die screaming from a zombie bite to the neck. Blood will splatter.
Will be running more than other characters. Will need some stunt (falling onto a mattress). Slightly older preferred.
Vomits at the sight of the zombie. Vomit will be oatmeal with yellow food coloring or something else edible but will look disgusting, so beware.
