About the project: "Winner of three Tony Awards, three Outer Critics Circle Awards, two Lucille Lortel Awards and two Obie Awards, Urinetown is a hilarious musical satire of the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility, populism, environmental collapse, privatization of natural resources, bureaucracy, municipal politics, and musical theatre itself! Hilariously funny and touchingly honest, Urinetown provides a fresh perspective on one of America's greatest art forms." Rate: Equity Guest Artist Contract, Equity Rate: $365/week; Non-Equity Rate: $100 rehearsal stipend, $50 per show. Additional info: Please prepare 32-bars of a song in the style of the show. You may be asked to sing a contrasting piece IF time allows. Please bring a copy of your headshot and resume with you to the auditions. Rehearsals begin in January 2023. Opening night is March 18th, 2023. Closing night is June 3rd, 2023. It Runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, and Sundays at 2 pm. For being considered, please apply.
