Performers Needed for "Christmas In Hell" Holiday Show

(The Father) Main character. He is the straightest character in the play – the anchor for all the insanity that goes on around him. He is pragmatic, and practical – and does not believe there is magic in the world. (he learns otherwise) Above all, he is a loving dad and desperate to help his boy. His quest takes him to unimaginable locations, and he must confront things he did not believe existed.

Looking for a commanding actor to embody the role of Lucifer. His is a pivotal role in this musical comedy--everything leads up to Lucifer's dynamic entrance. He's brimming with both charisma and menace. Comically evil but ultimately a sympathetic figure.

McDuffy is an Irish Priest. He has two lively and funny musical numbers and, though he might be elderly, he is still energetic and enthusiastic. Strong comedy skills required.

He is an officious elementary school principal -- uptight and a worrier. But he is also the leader of a band of misfit devil worshippers. His is perhaps the funniest role in the show. Great comic timing and deep commanding singing voice a must.

As narrator, she is the host for the evening. A storyteller who is a bit mischievous as she guides the audience through a Christmas story like none other. Humorous and congenial. The narrator also portrays God, who is confronted by a desperate father. She has two songs in the show.

Mrs. Huvey is an elderly kindergarten teacher. Compassionate, understanding, and freaking out about unexplainable phenomena in her classroom. Like most of the roles, the actor who plays Mrs. Huvey will be in the ensemble for many other scenes and musical numbers.

Timeless. Female or Non-Binary. Galiana is mysterious and ethereal; though full of the knowledge of the underworld, Galiana is internally torn - wanting to help the father save his son but sworn never to divulge her/his/their secrets. A role for a larger-than-life comic actor prepared to steal the show

Carl is the Bogeyman – the creature of children’s nightmares. But he is actually a pretty normal, if weird, man. A Steve Buscemi type, perhaps. He is obsessed with his huge hands (though they are not really all that big) He’s convinced nobody can love him beca use of his hands, and this has made him the monster we know.

Eddy is a "regular guy" doomed to comical eternal torment in Hell. He leads one of the biggest - and most inappropriate - songs in the show. A good, funny character actor with a fun singing voice. Like most of the roles, the actor who plays Eddy will be in the ensemble for many other scenes and musical numbers

In addition to the featured roles above, Christmas In Hell is populated with a fun assortment of characters. Everyone will have plenty to do. There are school faculty, clergy, a clan of devil worshipers, souls trapped in Hell, demons, and Chuck E Cheeze employees. Your excellent singing voice and strong comic acting skills will be put to good use.
