The company is holding auditions for "A Christmas Carol" and looking for talent. Please see the details below. About the project: A Christmas Carol, adapted by Krista Scott and musically arranged by George Maurer, will be directed by Robin M. Hughes (she/her), assistant directed by Michelle Tibble (she/her), music directed by Ken McMullen (he/him), and choreographed by Emily Brookes (she/her). Seeking fully vaccinated/boosted adult and youth non-Equity actors/singers who move well. Rate: Rehearsals - $500 Flat rate (Scrooge); $400 Flat rate (Adult & Youth - Supporting roles); $200 Flat rate (Youth Ensemble) Shows - $50 Per show (Scrooge); $40 Per show (Adult & Youth - Supporting roles); $25 Per show (Youth Ensemble) 23 shows total Additional pay for internal understudies Travel stipend applications are available Time Commitment: Mon 10/24: 1st rehearsal Wed 11/16: Tech starts Thu 12/1: Opening Sat 12/24: Closing Weekly rehearsals could include 6-10 pm Mondays-Fridays, 1-6 pm Saturdays, and/or 1-6 or 6-10 pm Sundays. Actors will not be needed for every rehearsal. Youth rehearse less hours per week and are released by 9 pm and released by 10 pm during tech. There will be at least one day off per week. Understudy rehearsal is TBD. Material To Prepare: Please prepare for auditions 16-32 bars of a musical theatre song and a 1-2 minute monologue. If you have one prepared in a British dialect, that would be welcome. Bring a hard copy of your headshot/resume to your audition. When applying, please include the following: -Any conflicts with the rehearsal schedule (no pre-arranged tech or show conflicts will be allowed) -A headshot & resume -A description of any dance or movement training/experience (styles, years of training, etc.) -Additional links to any of your work are also welcome, but not required
