"Little Women" Show Needs Performers

About the project: This Tony Award-winning musical based on Louisa May Alcott’s novel focuses on the four March sisters and their beloved Marmee during the Civil War. Intercut with vignettes in which their lives unfold are several recreations of the melodramatic short stories that Jo writes in her attic studio. Rate: $300 stipend. Additional info: Callbacks will be Sunday, October 2, 6:00-10:00 pm. PREPARE: 16-32 bars from a traditional non-contemporary musical of your choice. Please bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. No taped music or a cappella allowed. Please have music marked and in a 3-ring binder. Be prepared to sing and read from the script and score at your audition. BRING: Headshot, resume, list of possible conflicts. REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will begin on October 29. Rehearsals will be Saturdays and Sundays 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. There will be no rehearsals on Nov. 26 & 27, Dec. 24 & 25.
