However, as fate would have it, they made an official introduction to the theaters in 2005, this time with a sequel that followed in 2007. These movies starred Chris Evans, Ioan Grufford, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, and Julian McMahon as the main leads. Another sequel was planned but was canceled due to the low performance of the second film.
Yet again, another Fantastic Four movie was released in 2015, starring different actors and following a different plot from the previous movies. This movie had very low ratings, and the idea of a sequel was immediately scrapped. Since then, Fox did not produce any new Fantastic Four films.
And now, Marvel Studios have obtained the rights to the superhero team and are looking to return them to the theatres once again.

We also know that John Krasinski will not return as Mr. Fantastic despite playing a role in Dr. Strange: multiverse of Madness. He explained that this was a one-off role.
Considering the clamor by fans for John to play the role over the past few years, we should think of it as a fan favorite. This means there is an open spot for Mr. Fantastic/ Reed Richards on Earth-616.
Nonetheless, we can conclude that nothing officially official is out yet concerning the cast of our favorite Marvel superhero family.
