Rate: All roles paid, nonunion stipends starting at $2,500, AEA contracts also available Additional info: Date: March 5-14th This production contains mature language and themes surrounding grief, loss, addiction, and mental health. Seeking a cast of four actors for this emotionally rich, fast-paced contemporary drama. Rehearsals for anthropology will take place weekday evenings and Sunday afternoons in Wilmington, DE, beginning in February, and performances March 5-14. In person callbacks, by invitation only, will follow. When applying, please include headshot, resume, and a video a 1-2 minute contemporary dramatic or comedic monologue no later than October 4.

The older sister, brainy coder and AI expert, driven, feeling tremendous grief and channeling it into tech. Queer, brilliant, hopeful.
The younger sister, cheeky, brash, always a handful, sometimes a disaster, but people forgive her because when she is fun she is the most fun. Sunshine until she storms. For most of the play Angie is the user interface of a computer system. She does not “sound like a computer." She is human.
Merril's ex, confident, clear-headed, heart-driven. She is a crafter, a home cook, a bit of a worrier but all from an abundance of love.
Merril and Angie's estranged mom, recovering addict, penitent but still awash in confused grief, broken confidence, and neediness. Never been a good mom to her girls, but now realizing how much she has lost in losing them. Clingy and desperate to reconnect.
