About the project: During a weekend camping trip with his older brother and friends, socially withdrawn Milton struggles to find his place within the group. But when he begins noticing an identical version of himself moving among them, something unexpected happens: this other Milton is everything he wishes he could be. As Milton becomes increasingly fascinated by the person wearing his face, strange inconsistencies begin spreading throughout the group. Friends appear where they shouldn’t, memories no longer match, and Milton is forced to question not only who around him is still real, but whether there will still be a place for him among them. Charismatic, playful, and naturally confident, Julian is the kind of person who feels at home in any room. As Milton’s older brother, he genuinely cares for him and often tries to bring him into the group, even if he doesn’t always understand how isolated Milton feels. Protective without being overbearing, Julian’s warmth and familiarity make him one of the few people Milton truly trusts.
Loud, impulsive, and endlessly playful, Manny is the group’s natural troublemaker. He’s constantly joking, challenging his friends, and pushing things a little too far, but rarely with genuine malice. Beneath all the shit-talking, Manny is welcoming and often one of the first to pull Milton into the group, making his friendship feel both chaotic and sincere.
Competitive, confident, and quick to challenge anyone, Nate thrives on the group’s constant shit-talking and friendly rivalry. He can come across as confrontational, but rarely takes things personally and is just as willing to laugh at himself. His competitive relationship with Milton gradually becomes more accepting as Milton begins finding his place within the group.
Easygoing, sarcastic, and dependable, Tio is often the more grounded presence within the group. He happily joins in on the jokes and chaos but rarely needs to be the center of attention. Comfortable around his friends and quick to go along with their antics, Tio brings a relaxed energy that helps make the group feel lived-in and genuine.
Additional Character. Witty, energetic, and always ready to add to a joke, Luke easily feeds off the group’s chaotic energy. He’s playful and occasionally reckless, but rarely takes himself or anyone else too seriously. While he enjoys giving his friends a hard time, there’s an underlying loyalty and familiarity that makes his teasing feel more affectionate than cruel.
