"Boondoggles" Low-budget Feature Film
We are producing a micro-budget comedy film called BOONDOGGLES about a cynical journalist investigating the disappearance of his unhinged older brother in a small town filled with bizarre characters and absurd conspiracies. We will be filming in Salida, Colorado. We have one role still to cast. It's three full filming days: Tuesday, September 29, Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11. $200 / day = $600 total. We will provide transportation to/from Denver, three full meals a day, and housing around those shoot days.

GEORGE or GEORGIA 30s–60s George is a lovable wizard who runs a cowboy bar in the middle of the Colorado mountains. He’s a member of the "American Association of Crimson Wizards for Good," an organization he takes very, very seriously. He has a kind heart, and wants to do good, but he doesn’t suffer fools, especially when they question his deeply-held beliefs. The sides are written for George as a man, but we are open to adjusting the role to Georgia the Witch, if we find a good fit.
