Casting Young Talent for a Paid Health-tech Startup
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. An Ottawa-based health-tech startup looking for 3 local university/college students to join a short-term project. See the details below. Rate: $1,400 CAD for 60 hours. Schedule is flexible within the project period. This is a short-term paid student project and is not a traditional four-month co-op placement. Additional information: Location: Ottawa only — applicants must currently live in Ottawa. Up to 60 hours total. Dates: October 26 – December 18, 2026. Flexible schedule/Hybrid. What you’ll do: Create and edit short videos, tutorials and social media content Help connect the company with local senior-serving organizations and community groups Reach out by email/phone and help coordinate local demos or workshops Especially interested in students who are creative, outgoing, comfortable talking to people, and able to create video content. No professional experience required. A portfolio or examples of your video work are strongly preferred. Strong assets, but not required: Connections with Ottawa seniors, families or community groups Experience working with senior-serving organizations Previous social media or marketing experience Previous startup experience.
