Casting Call for "The Hardy Boys in the Mystery of the House"
Seeking actors for "The Hardy Boys in the Mystery of the Haunted House" play. Please find the details below. Rate: Stipend provided. Additional info: Location: Barberton, OH. Actors will read selections from the script. No prepared monologue required. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian present at the start of the audition. Rehearsals: September 18–October 8. Performances: October 9–23. Performance schedule includes student matinees held during the school day; all actors must be able to be released from school for those performances. The older Hardy brother. Frank is serious but knows how to joke around. He often has to devise ingenious, last-minute plans because of his younger brother’s impulsiveness.
The younger Hardy brother. Joe is a smart-mouth who uses sarcasm and clever wit to annoy the bad guys—and sometimes everyone else.
A competitive, brave, and talented young woman who is always ready to assist the Hardys with their cases. She becomes Frank’s girlfriend and has a car of her own.
