About the project: A silent short film where Charlie Chaplin enters a lookalike competition, where chaos ensues as he tries to maintain his secret identity. On an evening stroll one night, Charlie Chaplin and his wife Edna walk past a theater hosting a Charlie Chaplin lookalike contest. After some persuasion, Charlie agrees to enter the competition to prove himself to his fans. Secretly, Edna enters as well, and they are off to the races to discover who the public thinks is the best tramp.
