4 roles

JENNIFER PAN (Lead)Female21-25 y.o.Asian

East Asian/Vietnamese. A young woman trapped between the crushing weight of her parents' high expectations and her own desire for freedom. She is a master of deception—convincingly playing the straight-A medical student to her family while secretly partying, doing drugs, and plotting with her boyfriend. The actress must possess incredible emotional range, shifting seamlessly from a fragile, crying daughter to a cold, manipulative mastermind.

MR. HANN PAN (Lead)Male50-59 y.o.Asian

East Asian/Vietnamese. A strict, traditional, and hardworking immigrant patriarch. He demands perfection because he believes it ensures survival and success. When he discovers his daughter's massive web of lies, his heartbreak transforms into cold fury and intense disappointment. Scenes/Requirements: Requires strong dramatic presence for intense confrontation scenes.

MRS. BICH PAN (Supporting)Female50-59 y.o.Asian

East Asian/Vietnamese. Warm, nurturing, and deeply proud of her daughter—perhaps to a fault. She acts as the emotional buffer between her strict husband and her daughter, blindly trusting Jennifer and enabling her financially out of love. Her world completely shatters when the truth is revealed. Scenes/Requirements: Requires heavy emotional work, loud crying/sobbing, and a simulated violence/shooting sequence.

DANNY WONG (Supporting)Male24-28 y.o.Asian

East Asian. Jennifer’s street-smart boyfriend. He lives a fast, loose lifestyle dealing with recreational drugs. While he genuinely loves Jennifer, he views her wealthy parents as a "cash cow" to fund a future business, subtly pushing her deeper into criminal behavior. Scenes/Requirements: Depicts drug use (rolled joints), manipulative charm, and a courthouse arrest sequence.
